In images that have been viewed by millions on the internet and in foreign newspapers, Harry is seen covering his modesty with his hands as a nude girl hides behind him. A second picture the young royal can be seen bear-hugging another girl with his bottom bared to the camera. Desperate courtiers called in lawyers to prevent the images being published in the UK or shown on British TV. Last night sources as Scotland Yard, who are responsible for Royal protection, said the officers involved vehemently denied any wrongdoing or suggestions they were drinking while effectively on duty. In a telephone heart-to-heart following his return to Britain on Wednesday, Charles is said to have told the year-old to throw himself into his military and royal duties as he prepares for action in Afghanistan as an Apache helicopter pilot.
